No, fees paid for opening equities and commodities accounts are non-refundable as they cover charges for electronic data entry, KYC, e-signing, printing documents, and operational costs of the business.

Suppose Zerodha is unable to open your account within ten days of receiving all the necessary documents and authorisations. In that case, you can request a full refund of all the charges you paid for the account opening.

If you have accidentally paid the account opening charges multiple times, please create a ticket to let Zerodha know. They will process your request and refund the extra amounts you paid.

If you have paid the account opening fee but your account is not yet activated (you have not received a client ID and password), you can request a refund with a clear reason.
