How Do I Close the Dhan account?
Step 1: Carefully fill in the details, sign, and mail the closure form to the address mentioned on the form.
Step 2: Find the ‘Account Closure Form’ on the Dhan website.
Please be aware that your BO ID consists of eight numbers: DP ID is the first eight digits, and Client ID is the last eight. The ‘My Profile’ section mentions the ‘Profile and Account Details’.
Note:
A physical form must be submitted to close an account. The procedures listed below have to be followed while making the request.
- Your trading account shouldn’t have a negative amount.
- The outstanding balance needs to be cleared.
- You must confirm that your Demat account has no securities.
- You have two options: Move your shares to another Demat account or sell your holdings and take your money out.
